Just to rule out any weirdness, does this continue to happen after restarting your computer?
If so, are any relevant messages logged the Console application when you try to click the Upgrade button in NoteAway?
The problem is solved. Probably there was a delay in receiving the message of purchase from Apple store.
I have been trying to purchase an upgrade to Pro NoteAway for the last couple of days without success. All I get is a message saying "the operation cannot be completed" and "An unknown error has occurred".
Running Sierra 10.12.4 on a late 2015 iMac 27".
I believe this would indicate some problem on Apple's side of things...
Does the same thing happen after restarting your computer?
