TuneSpan skips all files when spanning. Why?????

I have selected the files, dragged to Span area, and after clicking Span... and then setting the location, TuneSpan skips all the files. Nothing is happening. As of right, this app is useless for me.

Thanks for getting in touch. Could you please send a screenshot of the Span Results so I can see why they were skipped... or, do you remember the error reason that TuneSpan listed?

Without any further information, I'm sorry but I can't help.

Thanks for getting in touch. Is TuneSpan requesting file access when the span starts (and you're granting it?), or is it not doing anything and just skipping everything and jumping straight to the results?

The could be caused by a File Access issue, or it could be that TuneSpan is requesting access to the wrong location, which I've seen sporadically with the current version of TuneSpan.

I've got a TuneSpan 1.3 update waiting for review which should be out by the end of next week that should hopefully fix either of these problems.

But, let me know whether or not TuneSpan is requesting access at the beginning of the span and depending on that we can try to correct the issue with the current version before TuneSpan 1.3 is out.

TuneSpan 1.3 is now available on the Mac App Store http://mas.tunespan.com

Please let me know if you continue having the same issue the latest version.

I'm having same issue and I have 1.3.1. I double back-up my music. Moving from Mac to external HD 1 and trashing files worked no problem. Now I'm trying to move to external HD 2 from external HD 1 without trashing files, and it's saying for security I must explicitly allow tunespan to access my files. I allow access, then it skips as the previous questioner showed.

Hmm never mind. The access pop up was defaulting to my desired span location, instead of the external HD 1 source location. Changed the access to HD 1 and now it seems to be working.
