Showing Apps as Music and already deleted podcasts

Hey,
after the latest itunes update, Tunespan is showing my Apps (iphone and ipad) in the music folder...How come he recognizes them as music? Are you guys working on an update? Also, there is still the issue that deleted podcast are still showing up in tunespan...please help!

I am working on TuneSpan 1.3 which will be fully compatible with iTunes 12.2 and will have some nice new features.
The Mobile Apps are showing up in TuneSpan because of changes to the XML in iTunes 12.2, I've simply had to hide them in the TuneSpan UI because they still can't be spanned because they don't respond to the necessary "set location" AppleScript command.
About the deleted podcasts showing up in TuneSpan. That's a different issue. If you email me directly, I can send you an AppleScript that can fully remove the deleted podcasts from iTunes so that they won't show up in TuneSpan. But, I'm not comfortable posting the script publicly because it could be dangerous if someone uses it without understanding what they are doing.

I am using Tunespan 1.3 and have the Podcasts problem. A previously deleted video podcast has been picked up as a movie by Tunespan and is showing under the genre Podcasts in Movies.
Also, when I tested using Locate Missing Files TS told me there were 88 files it could not find. Again, all previously deleted and trashed iTunes podcasts??
