Migrating an existing large library on NAS into using TuneSpan
Answered
If I have a large library on a NAS that iTunes points to as it's default library location, can TuneSpan read in this existing library and potentially improve my access and efficiency to these files?
Thanks for getting in touch.
Firstly, TuneSpan can load iTunes Libraries from any location.
But, it sounds like all your media is already on an external drive. Having TuneSpan won't change anything or make anything more efficient as it is.
TuneSpan solely helps you relocate media files. So, if you are looking to move some of those media files on the external drive, to your internal drive, or another external, TuneSpan could help you.
