Does Tunespan change default library location?

Does Tunespan automatically add newly ripped files to the new location (i.e., the external hard drive) - or do I have to do that manually? I assume that the default library location from the perspective of iTunes is the local disc. Or I guess I could change that after moving stuff w/ Tunespan? But I don't want to actually because I want my music files to stay local.

Briefly... TuneSpan does not change the default library location :-)
Any newly added media in iTunes must be manually spanned by TuneSpan.
