How do you back up an iTunes library spanning several drives?

I moved my iTunes library to an external 4 TB drive a couple of years ago when my television and movie files were hogging all the space on my internal drive. Backing up the single drive is fairly easy. Now, though, I'm running out of space and want to use your program to "span" my library. How do you back up a spanned library?

Thanks for getting in touch.

It depends on what backup system you are using, but it shouldn't be hard no matter what.

Time Machine can an does backup any drives connected to your computer, you just need to make sure that they are connected long enough for the backup to complete, and also that the drives are NOT in the Time Machine EXCLUDE list in the Time Machine System Preferences Pane.

To check the exclude list, open System Preferences, click the Time Machine pane, and then click the "Option..." button on the bottom right. You want to be sure any drive or location you want backed up is NOT in this list.

If you are using something other than Time Machine, it will all depend. Let me know how you are backing your stuff up and I may be able to help.
