TuneSpan does it's job but does not show progress of files while spanning unless I resize windows to show the progress.

Thanks for getting in touch. I'm so sorry you've run into an issue.

This is a weird little bug that I've seen occasionally, but it's been very hard to track down and resolve the root cause of it.

I think I've made some headway in the latest update that I just submitted to Apple for approval, so it should be out within the next week or so.

But, even though I haven't seen the bug in some time, doesn't mean that it's gone completely. That's what's tough about some of these kinds of things that can happen, they are very hard to track down if they can't be consistently replicated. And, on my end the issue has not ever been consistent.

Are you seeing this issue for every span, or just occasionally?

Anyway, I'm aware of the issue and will continue to do my best to get to the bottom of it if the next update doesn't solve it once and for all. But, in the mean time, it is just a display issue and you can trust that TuneSpan is doing it's job in the background.

I've just released TuneSpan 1.2.1 on the Mac App Store.

While I can't guarantee that this bug is fixed, I'm very interested in hearing if you run into the same bug in the new version.

I am running version 1.2.1 and this issue happening to me too. I was having this issue in the previous version as well on Mavericks. I am no on Yosemite running 1.2.1 and am still experiencing the same issue. I will have to minimize the window and bring it back to get an updated screen or it just stays frozen. Even though the progress shows as frozen on the screen without any movement, it is still working. I just have to minimize and maximize in order to refresh the screen.

Thanks for getting in touch. Would you mind telling me a bit about your spans?

Do you notice this happens with bigger or smaller span sets? How much do you usually span at a time?

Do you usually do multiple spans in a row without relaunching TuneSpan?

And also, what is your computer setup and stats?

I'm in the same boat regarding the screen refreshes. I thought it might have been large span jobs at first (several hundred files), so I tried some smaller chunks (20 or so files), but still have the same behavior. My span jobs are from the internal fusion drive to an external USB3 drive.

I'm working with Yosemite on a new Mac Mini (Late 2014) with upgrade processor and memory (3.0GHz Core i7, 16GB RAM).

Let me know if there is something I can do to help track this bug down.
