Corrupted .m4v files

I have several TV show .m4v files that recently were corrupted and no longer play. They all worked fine after using TuneSpan, so I know that isn't the problem. Any ideas on how I might go about fixing them?

Thanks for getting in touch. I'm so sorry to hear that some video files got corrupted.

I'm sorry to say that I'm actually not sure how to fix this and un-corrupt a file. This could possibly be a sign that your external drive has issues or is failing so I would strongly suggest running diagnostics on the drive.

If the TV Shows were purchased from iTunes, you should be able to re-download them from there. Otherwise, I'd suggest going back to the source or retrieving from some backup if you have any.

Sorry I can't help more with this situation.

No worries, I was hoping that someone else might have had the issue and a solution.
